In Vitro Study: glabridin binds and activates PPAR γ, EC50 is 6115 nm [1]. Glabridin(40,80 μ M) The proliferation of SCC-9 and SAS cell lines was inhibited in a dose and time-dependent manner after 24 and 48 hours of treatment [2]. Glabridin(0-80 μ M) It also induces apoptosis, leading to sub G1 cell cycle arrest in SCC-9 and SAS cell lines [2]. Glabridin (0,20,40 and 80 μ M) Dose dependently activated Caspase-3, - 8 and - 9 and increased PARP cleavage, significantly phosphorylating ERK1 / 2, JNK1 / 2 and P-38 MAPK in SCC-9. Cells [2].

In Vivo Study: glabridin (50 mg / kg, Po once daily) showed strong anti-inflammatory activity and improved the inflammatory changes induced by dextran sodium sulfate (DSS) [3]
