Synephrine Use

Synephrine (oxedrine) is derived from citrus plants α- Adrenergic and β- Adrenergic agonists have sympathomic and structural similarities with ephedra and ephedrine alkaloids.

Name Of Synephrine

English Name: synephrine
Chinese alias: deoxyepinephrine | simforine | DL deoxyepinephrine | 1-p-hydroxyphenyl-2-methylaminoethanol | cinephrine | 1 - (4-hydroxyphenyl) - 2 - (methylamino) ethanol

Bioactivity Of Synephrine

Description: synephrine (oxedrine) is derived from citrus plants α- Adrenergic and β- Adrenergic agonists have sympathomic and structural similarities with ephedra and ephedrine alkaloids.

Relevant Categories: α- adrenergic and β- adrenergic[1]

In Vivo Study: adrenaline (1mg / kg; oral gavage; lasting for 8 days; PVL and BDL rats) significantly improved the hyperkinetic state of PVL and BDL rats. PVL and BDL rats significantly decreased portal vein pressure, portal vein branch bleeding flow and cardiac index, while adrenaline treatment increased mean arterial pressure and systemic and portal vein vascular resistance [2]. Animal model: Rats with portal vein ligation (PVL) or bile duct ligation (BDL) [2] dose: 1 mg / kg every 12 hours: oral gavage; Results on day 8: PVL and BDL rats had significantly decreased portal vein pressure, portal branch blood flow and cardiac index, and increased mean arterial pressure and systemic and portal vein resistance
