Application of Isoliquiritin

Isoliquitin is isolated from licorice root and can inhibit angiogenesis and catheter formation. Isoliquitin also has antidepressant effect and antifungal activity.

Isoliquiritin Action

Isoliquiritin has antitussive effect, similar to that of antidepressants. Isoliquiritin, glycyrrhizin and isoliquirigenin inhibited the p53 dependent pathway and showed crosstalk between Akt activity.
